Readers should note that I don't support Goodluck Jonathan nor President Buhari. I only support a better Nigeria.
***Year 2011 can never be forgotten in the mind of Nigerians. It was a year filled with hope. Many Nigerians including me where happy because finally, we have a president that went through what 85% of Nigerians passes through everyday. People where happy because for the first time in the history of Nigerian Democracy their vote came to something near counting.
There was breath of fresh air all over the country, people named their children after him, hope filled the air, there was sense of Peace and Joy, almost everybody in the country was happy but, did it last? we will find out
The leadership of the former President was not an enviable one and I will not wish it for my enemy. It all started with the alleged statement by the present president Mohamed Buhari. I can remember it was alleged that the prsent president Buhari made a statement ("I am going to make Nigeria ungovernable") that amounts to treason yet, allowed to go free still baffles me. I am not a politician and i don't really understand the game. That in itself throws so many unanswered questions about Goodluck Jonathan's tenure.
Boko Haram have been in Nigeria for years but, after the alleged statement of president Buhari. Boko Haram insurgence escalated to a hight that they where termed terrorist. How all this happened immediately after the alleged statement throws another unanswered question about president Buhari.
Is it President Buhari, Goodluck Jonathan or an anonymous person that sponsors the BH boys, time I believe will tell us. For now lets hope for a better Nigeria.
