Many people must have been wondering, How many points of agenda should President Buhari have in his first tenure?
Frankly speaking. Nigeria do not need so many point of agenda to move forward. Nigeria is in itself a great and rich country by every standard. I will suggest that President Buhari have just only but three point agendas which are; power, fighting corruption and security. If this three things are tackled then every other thing will fall into place.
Power: For a country as big as Nigeria to be generating below 2000 MW of electricity is by itself a crime to the people. If power can be raised say 30000-40000 MW. Then, there is a guaranty that there will be something near constant electricity which in-turn will attract internal and external investments. Not only will it attract investors but will also cut down the over reliance on petrol thereby cutting down the price of petrol drastically.
Fighting corruption; There is no country in the world that can boast of non existence corruption but, they can proudly say corruption is at it minimal. When corruption is low in Nigeria then all public funds will be utilized and managed properly. Every sector of the economy will grow which also attract investors and in turn help create job opportunity for the people.
Security; When I go around knowing that I am near 80% safe in all parts of the country. I can gladly invest my money in any part of the country I feel like, that will definitely go a long way to raise the standard of living in that particular area.
This are just the three things that is urgently needed by our great country Nigeria for us to move forward.
